DIAGNOSIS                           INVESTIGATIONS IN SEVERE
                                          ACUTE PANCREATITIS
Estimation    of    serum                 * Haemoglobin estimation &

units is diagnostic                       * Blood sugar
                                          * Serum electrolytes and
*  One  third  have  more                   urea
   than 500 units                         * Serum amylase
